You naturally have questions about the assessment and rehabilitation you receive at Arrow Physiotherapy & Massage Therapy Clinic. We are happy to address your frequently asked questions here before you visit our physiotherapy office in Surrey.

Will physiotherapy help me?
It is important to remember that every condition is different, and therefore will respond differently to treatment. If I feel physio is not appropriate – you can rest assured – I will refer you to the appropriate medical personnel.
What can I expect when I receive treatment?
The first session will involve a thorough assessment to identify the cause of your symptoms. I’ll explain the findings to you and devise a treatment plan so you can achieve your goals. The effects of any treatment will be monitored and adjusted accordingly – which is dependent on your feedback.
How long is the first visit?
The initial assessment and treatment will be 45 minutes to 1 hour long.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of treatments you require is difficult to determine because it will depend on the presenting condition and diagnosis. The average number of physiotherapy treatments for clients is four. After an initial assessment, I will discuss this with you. If you feel you’re not progressing as fast as you would like, then your treatment plan can be re-evaluated, or I will refer you to the appropriate consultant.
What is your cancellation and no-show policy?
We require 24 hours’ notice for the cancellation of your appointment. If you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice or are a no-show, a cancellation fee of $20 will be charged to you.
Please note: If you have a valid extenuating circumstance, please let our staff know and the cancellation fee will not be observed.
