What We’re Doing to Keep Everyone Safe

During COVID19 – we are waiving our cancellation fees, so please give us a call and stay home if you are feeling unwell. We plan to do the same!

Once you have booked an appointment with us, please follow & expect these steps:

Arriving for the appointment

Screening process to ensure client and staff safety & well – being.

A Questionnaire form will be provided to ensure that everyone comply with the safety protocols & guidelines. The Questionnaire will ask the following:

  1. Are you experiencing cold, flu or COVID-19-like symptoms, even mild ones? Symptoms include: fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat and painful swallowing, stuffy or runny nose, loss of sense of smell, headache, muscle aches, fatigue or loss of appetite.
  2. Have you travelled to any countries outside Canada (including the United States) within the last 14 days?
  3. Did you provide care or have close contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19? Note: This means you would have been contacted by your health authority’s public health team.

If you answer YES to any of the above questions, you will not be granted access to the
clinic and will be asked to go home and follow the instructions of the BC Health Authority
regarding COVID 19 testing and/or self isolation.

Masks
All clients who enter our space are required to be wearing a mask. We ask that you bring your own masks to your appointment. A bandana covering your face is also acceptable. When you enter the clinic, please ensure that your mask is on. Our office will have some supplies on site, but we are limited in quantities so please bring your own.

Personal Items
Leave all non-essential personal items at home or in your vehicle. Arrive only with what you need for your appointment. Please leave all personal items (including jackets, water bottles, coffee cups etc) in your vehicle.

Arrive alone
Arrive alone unless you require a caregiver, an interpreter, or are a minor (under 16) and require a parent/guardian.

Washrooms & Other Amenities Availability
Please note that there will be no washrooms available to the public except in the case of an emergency. Please use the washroom at home prior to leaving for your appointment.
Not offering and have removed non-essential items such as magazines, toys, candy, and beverages.

After Your Appointment
All billing and payments will occur without direct contact with the receptionist. We ask that you tap your credit or debit card to pay for your appointments at this time. You will receive an electronic receipt via email. Your exercise program will also be emailed to you following your appointment.

You will then proceed to the exit and sanitize your hands once more on the way out. Paper masks may be disposed of in the waste bin near the exit. Please be sure to sanitize hands after removing a mask.

What to Expect of us
For the protection of all us, your therapist and our staff will be wearing a surgical mask. If other items are necessary to be used during your treatment we will do so (e.g. gloves, gown, face shield).

We will be doing regular cleaning and disinfecting of all high traffic points throughout the day. All direct patient care areas will be disinfected between each patient.
